Something a bit different …

Clive StJames started doing his impressions of Tommy Cooper when he was three years old to cheer his mum up as she suffered from chronic depression.

Clive thought Tom had a flower pot on his head and was one of the flower pot men, Bill and Ben. Clive used to get a flower pot out of the garden pop it on his head and go “just like that”. Clive’s Mum would burst out laughing! (Toms wife Dove would in later years give Clive Tom’s last fez for good luck with his show).

We decided to crown Clive with his own new flower pot as a thank you for volunteering at our Volunteers Christmas party with the magicians from Wessex Magical Association
