Saturday 16th March – Plant Sale and Spring Fayre – 8am to 3pm
We are looking forward to our first major fundraising event of the year.
We are facing challenges with the provision of parking for this event after long periods of wet weather. We are in active discussion with BCP for permission to use the adjacent field.
To free up as many car parking spaces as possible adjacent to the nursery, we have asked our Volunteers, Friends, and Stallholders to, where possible, park slightly further away in the Stour Valley car park.
Our Car park will be managed by staff and volunteers so please follow any advice given on the day.
There are three buses an hour that stop at Brierley Road, five minutes’ walk away, should you wish to attend our event by public transport.
We have live music including ‘Rod Bush’ and ‘The Real Deal’ Our Volunteers will have stalls raising money for their travel expenses fund. We also have tombolas and stalls include Lorna’s Little Luxuries, Oscar’s pet foods and Magical Nature Art. We are also delighted to welcome back community stalls including Dorset Wildlife Trust and Dorset Family History Society.
We have a raffle with fantastic prizes including a £100 Cherry Tree Nursery voucher, Hall and Woodhouse vouchers, Knoll Gardens admission ticket for four, Marsham Court Hotel Sunday Roast for two voucher, Swanage Railway Travel voucher and much more. If you can’t make it on the day tickets are available to purchase in our shop.
Tea, coffee, and delicious homemade cakes are in the Tea Room and along with Green Label Kitchen Vegan food and we have a Barbeque provided by Westbourne Rotary
