Dear Friends of Cherry Tree Nursery
After careful consideration, following the sad death of our beloved Queen, we have decided to hold our Plant Sale and Autumn Fayre as planned on Saturday 17th September.
We asked our Volunteers for their thoughts and overwhelmingly they felt the late Queen would have wanted us to continue with the event which directly supports the work we do.
A two-minute silence will be held at 11am to show our respect, we feel we have a strong royal connection as Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal, Princess Anne opened our Volunteers’ Tea Room in 2012 and our thoughts and prayers are with the royal family at this sad time.
The shop and nursery will be closed on Monday 19th September as our late Queen is laid to rest.
