Plants propagated and grown on site, plus those bought in, are offered for sale in our small retail area. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sales Supervisor to lead and develop the full potential of the retail area to maximise income for the charity.
Professional horticultural and plant knowledge is essential as is proven retail supervisory experience as the successful candidate will lead and manage a team of volunteers, create dynamic and vibrant plant and product displays and work closely with the nursery team to utilize available seasonal stock and associated products.
We have two sites, Cherry Tree Nursery in Bournemouth and Chestnut Nursery in Poole. This vacancy is offered at Cherry Tree Nursery but with team working across both sites.
The candidate must be motivated, enthusiastic and experienced in customer service. The working pattern is Thursday to Monday with Tuesday and Wednesdays off. The salary range is commensurate with experience.
This position is offered as temporary while our existing Sales Supervisor is on a sabbatical with an end date as yet unknown.
