Plant Sale 6th July 2019
We would like to invite you to our summer fundraising event, our Plant Sale and Summer Fayre on Saturday 6th July between 8 am and 3pm. There should be something for everyone!
Many plants in 2 litre pots will be on sale at a special price. Lots of other plants are available too – summer bedding plants, perennials, shrubs, herbs, climbers, fruit bushes and trees and larger specimen plants. We will also have a cash only Bargain Bench where most plants are just £2!
We have a very special raffle here with fantastic prizes including a Venture Studios Photography experience worth £245, a £100 cherry tree plant voucher, £100 Brittany Ferries Voucher and days out vouchers as well as a Dorset Ginger hamper and much more. If you can’t make it on the day tickets are available in our shop now.
We have three musical performances on the day. We welcome back Rod Bush to the nursery playing from 930am and 130pm. The Darwins are here playing from 1030am to 12 and Muddy Puddle Ukelele band will be with us from 1230pm. As well as the plants on sale we have many other stalls for you to visit, new stalls IP Crafts and Stephanie Herman Crafts and returning favourites Redwood Creations, Grow your own crafts, Shoreline Crafts and Kesmee Studio. We also have a fair trade Traidcraft stall, a hand made card stall and lucky dip tombola.Our Volunteers are running several stalls here including a shop produce stall which has a selection of the local products for sale which are now on sale regularly in our shop. There is a book stall in the function room with all proceeds to the Volunteers travel fund.
Everybody is a winner on the plant tombola, you can buy your ticket on the way to the tearoom, for a free tea and coffee and we have some delicious homemade cakes on sale. Green label kitchen can be found in our tearoom with some Vegan Meze. Outside we will have Westbourne Rotary with their BBQ. We are delighted to welcome back community stalls here. Dorset Children’s Foundation, Dorset Wildlife Trust and U3A.
