Poetry – Stardust
Isn’t it magical that we’re all just little bags of stardust
Jampacked with those amazing particles absolutely fit to bust
Pockets alive with awesomeness, I’m sure a sight of wonder and awe
Brimming with energy and vava voom from the outside to the core
Can you see our glimmer and sparkle just with the naked eye?
On a cold winter’s night would we light up the dark sky?
Do these particles carry promise and potential of all that we can be?
Do they need to always be contained or can they be set free?
I can see you glittering, a magnificent sight to behold
My friend you’re priceless, unique, fantastic, worth your weight in gold
Don’t ever let anyone tell you that you can’t shine good and true
Prove it in your own actions and everything you do
I can see the universe when I look into your eyes
You’re totally, super special, so to me it’s no suprise
Moons are orbiting, planets spinning, stars shoot and cascade
I hope that this always lasts for ever and you never let it fade
Can your whole aura be so shimmery and reflect in the words you say?
Will you allow your beautiful stardust to sparkle and shine today?
