Small mound-forming perennial with green foliage with red-tinted stems, grown for its profusion of large purple daisy-like flowers with distinct veins and paler undersides borne from May to October, which open to greet the sun. Ideal for a dry sunny border or a wall. Forms weed-suppressing ground cover.
