Description

Attractive perennial growing to a height of 2 ft, grown for its tall spikes of fluffy, violet-blue flowers in mid to late summer which open from the top downwards. These are complemented by the glossy deep green foliage. Ideal for the front of a herbaceous or mixed border. They make excellent cut flowers and are very attractive to butterflies.
