Cherry Tree Nursery in Bournemouth produces over 100,000 finished high quality garden plants every year on our 4½ acre site. We grow a wide range of common and unusual hardy nursery stock: shrubs, perennials, climbers, grasses, trees, bamboos, ferns and conifers, selling everything from herbs in 9cm or 1 litre pots, to 45 litre bamboos. We are renowned for producing exceptionally high quality plants at reasonable prices.

We also sell bedding, perennials and bulbs grown at our sister project, Chestnut Nursery in Poole, and we buy in some interesting specialist varieties.
We aim to produce as many plants as possible ourselves, from semi-ripe cuttings, or from seed. Propagation is done in our glasshouse, and plants are grown on in our polytunnels.
We are open to the public six days a week and also operate a Cash and Carry wholesale service for trade customers, mainly other nurseries and landscapers. We help other charities by offering them a sale or return service for stalls at public events.
